wow, what has it been ages ok well really it has been a couple months since i have updated everyone; so here goes.
school has taken over my life, this semester has fucked me in the ass for the last time. I am done with school Monday so that is exciting. Still working on my research paper for my writing (RHT160 for all of you OU students) class. i decided to do eating disorders in males. it was a subject i got to put myself with all semester long, and at the time i loved it, and i still do, but i am so over doing the research just let me write the paper and get it over. we only had about two weeks to write our paper with someone to review it. awesome right? oh well my paper is going to kick ass, and be totally bull shited for most of the personal information. my other classes are ok. i have spanish and public speaking. spanish is making me work which is good i guess, maybe i'm learning something who really knows after my final we'll see. LOL. my public speaking class is a god damn joke. i'll sum it up for you guys i go to class sometimes (depending on the weather) and listen to people do their lame speeches and take group test, and our "final" is to give an award to someone in the class. it can be on anything and only a minute long. WASTE OF TIME oh well its an easy 4.0
been to CMU a couple times, last weekend i went to the drag show which was fun. it was a great show. met a lot of cool people. partyed watched pple get drunk and talk to flies..yes that is brandon. HAHA!
i can't wait for the summer demf, working again (but not sure of the location of my work haha), bars, my grandma is coming for a couple months for my brother and sister's graduations. I am hoping to do some traveling. WONK!!
my brain is on empty and i don't know what else has happened to me in the past couple months.

so for all who isn't up with up with my life here is the reader's digest version of my story:
i have been having problems with my sidekick, dealing with tmobile for a long time. jumping through the fire and the hoops for these people they finally decided to let me send in my phone. Tomorrow i should be getting a new sidekick, and i am excited. but here is the thing now; i was checking my bill online and it said i can upgrade my account. i was like cool, but there has to me more to this than what they are saying. i can upgrade for another 2 years with tmobile, or no extenstion but pay about 400 for a phone. this is what i need from all of you to give me some advice.
1: where do you get your service from? and how long have you been with this company?
2: Are you happy with your service?
--what do you think i should do here are my choices:

I have come to the learn that I say a lot of t hings, hopes, dreams, thinking that maybe one day the way i would want my life to pan out would possibly come true. But now i know that i have just been kidding myself. there is no way that i will do what i want to do with my life, and i know i can tell myself over and over again that i am ok with that. But i know it isn't true, i want only the best for me, a good life like the one i talk about to people. I am so young in my life but i feel that my dreams are slipping away. I see other people moving so far ahead in there lives. I take an outside look at my life and i see nothing. I work, I go to school, and what? I am not even doing photography, or drawing so i can hopefully get into what i want to do. I want to be a fashio designer and be invited to go to new york fashion week. Even though i konw my friends and peers could say yes they can see me doing whatever i put my mind to, but my mind is there, but i don't see it at all. I know if i want something i need to go for it, but i need the support of my family.
Iam so good at giving other people advise and helping them achieve their goals, but why can't i help myself and find somewhere to take me in as an intern? WHY?
Maybe I should just be happy with what I have, but I can't help but think what my life would be like if I could work and get what I want out of life. I don't want to go through life being scared of making moves, making myself a happier me. |

last night it was so much fun. when i got the call from steph saying she was there, i walked around the building and this guy asked me if i wanted to go backstage wtih him and meet ryan (he asked me this b/c he loved my t-shirt i made for the concert) i said no, and everyone tells me i should of gone, but whatever. so when the concert stated this one guy opened the show up and he was really good, but i don't remember his name, after him came the veronicas. OMG i love them, they are super nice, and little. i was telling people that we would put them in a box and mail them for a buck fifty. haha. after they were done with theie set we all went to go meet them, and got our early copy of their album (can we say SWEET) once we got out cds signed we rushed down to the stage waiting for ryan to come out, around 9 he came out and it was the best concert ever. he opened with "hit me with your light" ---my favorite song. Ryan was talking about how he would think about doing a dance off, so nick and i started dancing together in the back, but ryan didn't do it :( once we got over that i thought omg i should give ryan my shirt, so clearly i wrote on the inside " love your #1 fan, Jill" and i also wrote "please sign and return" and i gave my address, and phone number. and threw it on stage. SO MUCH FUN. after the concert was over walking back to my car which was right behind the tour busses, i met the Veronicas, and got my pic taken with them (that pic still to come) they signed my tank top i was wearing. after that i was hoping ryan would come out of his bus and he finally did and i got my cd signed, and nick's poster signed, and got my pic with him. (also till to come) i told him about my shirt, b/c he asked if i was cold standing in a tank top, and i told him that i threw my shirt at him and i told him all the details from above and he said as soon as he gets it he will sign it and return it. i hope he was telling the truth b/c that would be fucking sweet.
i can't wait to get my other pics from rick. his are so much better than mine. damn me leaving my digital camera in the car |

As the Weather Breaks So do the Students

The sun is shining, and the semester is quickly coming to a close. It seems that it is getting harder and harder for students to stay focused and keep on hitting those books.
The thought of sitting in a stuffy windowless classroom, listening to lecture, taking notes, and knowing that the weather outside is so beautiful, it is hard to stay motivated to attend. You rationalize with yourself saying “you know if I miss one class and make it the next time it is ok”. Or even think about how important the lecture actually going to be.
All your hard work you have done throughout the semester seems to be paying off right? For some yes, but then for others skipping classes get them farther and farther behind making it hard for them to catch up.
Summer fever doesn’t only hit Oakland University, but this trend for not attending classes also applies to other universities like Central Michigan University, Michigan State University, and University of Michigan. Even though Oakland University mostly consist of commuters this may be a factor on why we, the students start to come to class less and less. Another factor might be the fact that we feel burnt out from all the work we have done throughout the year.
As students we are always full with obligations like work, sport teams, friends, and family, obligations seem to be everywhere. It seems you are being pulled in numerous different directions especially toward the end of the school year, and everything seems to be piling up on you.
Classes aren’t the only things students stop attending when the weather breaks; it has been known that many students dispose of their significant other around the time of the school year ending. School ending and the summer just around the corner, and then wanting the freedom of flirting with someone with their nice tan bodies, and half dressed while on the lake; without the boyfriend or girlfriend label attached to you. This makes it a lot easier to have a fun filled summer with your friends.
Talking to my girl friends about their relationships about how common do they think it is for the girl to break up with their boyfriend before the summer? I was amazed to find out that 3 out of 4 would tell me that it seems to be common among college girls. A couple of them would actually tell me that they were planning on doing it right after finals. The reasons they gave me on why they feel it was necessary to break up with their boyfriend I would hear reasons like “he doesn’t have any time for me.” “He got a bad haircut and "he is bad in bed." I don’t understand why they have to tell me an excuse for breaking up with their boyfriend I wonder why can’t they just say “I’m bored and I want to date someone new.” Then I have one friend that doesn’t feel the pressure or need to break up with her boyfriend because she is comfortable with him.
I am sure that guys get in on the action as well, waiting for the time to breakup with their girlfriend for another sexier girl. I just didn’t find any of my guy friends
When the summer starts to wind down the students either find someone that they can date until the next summer or run back to their previous boyfriend or girlfriend.
Along with getting back together with their boyfriend or girlfriend as the school year starts up again. With a fresh start to a new relationship makes you feel good both in and out. This makes it easier to attend class to start your cycle all over again.
I feel that everyone works in some kind of cycle, as you see in college students it is the change of the weather that depends on the outcome of the student’s performance. Student’s work and relationship cycle it seems as the seasons change so do their feeling.
No matter what kind of cycle you are on, it works for you. I bring on the challenge to anyone who is willing to take up on it, is to see if you or any of your friends have a certain type of cycle. Either it is the one I talked about with school or relationships or it is something completely different.

overall a great weekend.
went to necto with drew and nicky for nicky's birthday. but first getting there is a story in itself. i left my house around 1030ish roughly and then went got nicky and drew. when i got drew we thought we were on our way little did i think that my car was going to be a piece of shit. turning on M-5 from 13 mile is where my car sounded like a 747 plane. that sound was my muffler, piece of shit escort. turned around and headed to drew's and got his car and made it to ann arbor in 30 mins or a little less. friday made me realize how much i miss drew, he is so fabulous.
